What is a work from home agent?
A work from home agent is a remote sales or customer service representative who works independently from their home office. Unlike a full call center, individual WFH agents are ideal for smaller campaigns, niche verticals, or buyers who want a dedicated agent rather than a team. All agents on our marketplace have been pre-screened by Data Monster before listing.
What equipment do WFH agents need?
Most agents on our marketplace have their own laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection. For compliance-sensitive onshore US campaigns, you may also require agents to use a specific dialer or CRM platform. Equipment requirements are negotiated directly between you and the agent — through Data Monster as the intermediary.
How is my payment protected?
All payments are held in escrow by Data Monster, Inc. in our own merchant account. Funds are never released to an agent until you confirm that work was delivered as agreed. If there is a dispute, it is handled through the CCFH Marketplace Resolution Program — Data Monster reviews evidence from both parties and issues a binding decision.
Can I hire multiple agents at once?
Yes. You can hire individual agents from the marketplace or submit a bulk hire request through our call center hire form. For teams of 5 or more agents, consider using the Personal Shopper service — a Data Monster representative will arrange and chaperone interviews with pre-matched vendors to save you time.
Do onshore US agents cost more than offshore?
Yes. Onshore US work from home agents typically cost more per hour or per result than nearshore or offshore agents. However, for federally regulated campaigns requiring TCPA or HIPAA compliance, native English fluency, or specific onshore requirements, the premium is justified. Offshore agents in the Philippines and India are available at significantly lower cost for non-regulated programs.
What is the difference between a WFH agent and a call center?
A work from home agent is an individual remote contractor working independently from their home. A call center is a team-based operation with shared infrastructure, management, and supervisors. WFH agents are better for smaller volume, flexible campaigns or niche verticals. Call centers are better for high-volume, 24/7 programs requiring redundancy and management oversight. Both are available on the CallCentersForHire.com marketplace.
